I'm having the same problem with this webcam, similar kernel output error, etc.

I have tried the module in several computers and kernel versions, all of them with the same error:

Applying the patch has not worked, neither the poor "ports" from the 0x305? camera code I've tried.

Michel (Xhaard) has pointed:

" The -18 error come from the usb layer, try another usb socket"

But none of my USB sockets in any computer with any kernel make the camera work, which leads me to think that it's not a hardware problem.

By now I am just using the webcam's leds to light a Logitech Quickcam VC that does take the picutes :)
