I get exact the same messages when I run gspca gui and have a nice and clear 
picture.

I even have this
Unable to find a StreamId !!
StreamId: 6 Unknow Camera
in the messages, but it works.

So, check the kernel log and use debug=5 to get more verbose messages.
You can run "tail -f /var/log/kern.log" to see the messages "online:.
