[Spca50x-devs] Intel CS110 Webcam and SuSE Linux 9.1 with SPCA5xx driver does not load: Invalid Argument

I have a Intel CS110 webcam.

I have an Intel P4 3.2 GHz system with SuSe Linux 9.1 installed

uname -a:
Linux davis 2.6.5-7.276-smp #1 SMP Mon Jul 24 10:45:31 UTC 2006 i686
i686 i386 GNU/Linux

I have downloaded spca5xx-20060501 driver and have successfully build
the kernel module. I googled this problem and found a previous
reference to the same problem under SuSE Linux 9.1,
http://lists-archives.org/spca50x-devs/00454-modprobe-spca5xx-error.html

I have tried modprobe of the module and receive the same problem. This
does not appear to be a hotplug issue. When the module loads there is a
invalid argument on load. I am performing a "modprobe spca5xx" command.
No arguments provided.

When I plug the camera into a USB port I receive the following output in
/var/log/messages:

Feb 13 08:14:43 davis /etc/hotplug/usb.agent[5783]: unknown command

I executed the command "modinfo spca5xx" and the output is in the
attached file below:
