In this case we have one problem. ZC0302 WebCam series of Z-Star devices has equal ID 0ac8:0302 (see http://mxhaard.free.fr/spca5xx.html )
but different sensors. For right identification of the sensor in this case use probe_sensors() procedure, which not so easy and not implemented correctly for all sensors.

You can use:

1) usbsnoopy http://www.wingmanteam.com/usbsnoopy/
(see this FAQ http://mxhaard.free.fr/snoopy.html)

2) or USBSnoopyPro:
http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/Other-DRIVERS-TOOLS/Others/Beyond-Logic-USB-Snoopy-Pro-020.shtml
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/usbsnoop/SnoopyPro-0.20.zip?download
http://sourceforge.net/projects/usbsnoop/

Michel (AFAIK) prefers first tool, I'm - the second

It is know problem. See FAQ http://spca50x.sourceforge.net/spca50x.php?page=faq
--------------
"I am getting a "error -28 ENOSPC" in my kernel log and my webcam doesn't work!?!

This is a known problem. It is caused because of a lack of USB-bandwidth, which is normally
caused by other USB-devices taking up bandwidth on a shared USB hub. To solve it plug your
webcam into it's own un-shared USB Hub, if possible you should plug it into your computer so that the
webcam is directly connected to the motherboards USB Host Controller, and not through 1 or more shared usb hubs. "

In additional. Could you send full dmesg log with Sensor detection output, such as:

/home/ss/Work/WebCam/Experimental/mgspcav1-01.00.12/gspca_core.c: USB SPCA5XX camera found.(ZC3XX)
/home/ss/Work/WebCam/Experimental/mgspcav1-01.00.12/gspca_core.c: [gspca_probe:3639] Camera type JPEG
/home/ss/Work/WebCam/Experimental/mgspcav1-01.00.12/Vimicro/zc3xx.h: [zc3xx_config:516] Sensor ID:22
/home/ss/Work/WebCam/Experimental/mgspcav1-01.00.12/Vimicro/zc3xx.h: [zc3xx_config:523] Find Sensor Tas5130 (VF0250)
/home/ss/Work/WebCam/Experimental/mgspcav1-01.00.12/gspca_core.c: [spca5xx_getcapability:832] maxw 640 maxh 480 minw 176 minh 144

And if it possible, send any *.inf and *.reg files from your windows driver
