[Spca50x-devs] Introducing: Creative Live! Cam Video IM Pro

 Hello spca5xx developers.

I'm seeking support on getting my webcam working on Liunux.
Specifically I'm using Kubuntu: 2.6.15-27-amd64-generic

The cam is a "Creative Live! Cam Video IM Pro".
I duplicated the entries in spca5xx.c for the "Creative Live" and updated the product ID.
I recompiled and loaded the module, with no dice.

As per the README, I have verified the following items.

- make sure videodev (and some other stuff) is there;
dylan@dilbert:~$ lsmod | egrep '(video|spca5xx|quickcam|uhci|ohci)'
spca5xx               662204  0
quickcam               78120  0
videodev               13696  2 spca5xx,quickcam
video                  18824  0
ohci1394               37324  0
ieee1394              369048  2 sbp2,ohci1394
ohci_hcd               23684  0
usbcore               147132  7 spca5xx,quickcam,usbhid,ehci_hcd,ohci_hcd

- make sure the usb stuff is working;
- make sure the usb subsystem detects your cam;

- check syslog, if the driver claims the device;

(Note,
00.57.08.01 is the current version with my own mod.)

- load the module with debug=4 and check syslog for some extremely verbose debug information;
Sorry, I don't know how to do that.

I have run the webcam on my W2K machine, and collected a usbsnoop.log which I have posted at:
http://dylan.doxey.org/creative-live-cam-video-im-pro-usbsnoop.log

Please let me know what more I can do.
