[Spca50x-devs] Logitech Orbicam (0x0892) module compiles but doesn't load

Hi there!

At first, I really need to thank Michel for his great job he is doing...Thank you Michel!

I was happy to see that the support to the Logitech Orbicam (0x0892) has been implemented, even if it is still on test.

I can compile the module but I have errors when I try to load it (gspca).
I guess it's a kind of incompatibility with v4l2

Here it is some infos on my system.

Kernel: 2.6.19.1
V4L: Version 2 enabled (as a module) and compatibility version 1 enabled (as a module)

lsusb confirms the device:

Bus 005 Device 003: ID 046d:0892 Logitech, Inc.

Compile is successful even if with warnings:

When I try to load the module, I have the following message:

FATAL: Error inserting gspca (/lib/modules/2.6.19.1/kernel/drivers/usb/media/gspca.ko): Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)

And the dmesg give me the following:

gspca: disagrees about version of symbol video_devdata
gspca: Unknown symbol video_devdata
gspca: disagrees about version of symbol video_unregister_device
gspca: Unknown symbol video_unregister_device

gspca: disagrees about version of symbol video_register_device
gspca: Unknown symbol video_register_device
gspca: disagrees about version of symbol video_device_release
gspca: Unknown symbol video_device_release

If there is a trick to solve this problem, let me know...

Thanks!!!

Tony
