Rule 1, if you have another running DC, do not recover a DC from a
backup.

Your best plan now would be to upgrade to the internal dns server with
samba_upgradedns and then upgrade again to Bind9. This should reset
your dns.
Of course, it goes without saying, test this first on a clone.
