Can you try this. 

 ./smbclient -d 3 -s /dev/null //192.168.0.3/xxxxx -U ".\xxxxx" 
Or 
 ./smbclient -d 3 -s /dev/null //192.168.0.3/xxxxx -U "PC-NAME\xxxxx" 

Optional add -mSMB2 to it.
