Probably because it worked on their OS for whoever wrote it in the first

Nobody has ever mentioned that before (well, I haven't heard it), but
you have to have the links to get Unix users & groups to work. If you
can prove that RSAT works better with the links, then I will alter the
wiki page.

Thanks for the updates, I just wish more people would report errors &
typo's
