[MPlayer-dev-eng] MPlayer and raw video




MPlayer naively assumes that 'rawvideo' raw video from libavcodec (whether it's contained in AVI, QuickTime or something else) contains 24-bit RGB triplets. It *can*, for pixel formats like rgb24 and bgr24, but it can also be palettized or monochrome. Anything that's not compressed/encoded. The following files with raw video will play without video in MPlayer:
