moz.general is not moderated. I suppose someone could be asked to
spam filters on it every month or os. In the meantime, set your own
filters, or just delete the useless messages. That's what I do.
How would I filter/delete when using USENET?

The same way you would filter the spam in the Mozilla newsgroups like
But spam filters are grayed out for Thunderbird for Newsgroups.
That's why I posted links on how to create filters.
Mine work like a charm. An occasional tweak is required.
Why can't the spam filter for email be used on Newsgroups also?
