The page colors changed and
asked to be always used. That is all. A brand new profile was created
just to test for this discussion, so any other changes the default
profile has (like some changes I did using about:config) did not exist -
all just default values. The problem repeated.
Change the dropdown menu "Substitute page colors..." back to "never"
again, and leave it alone.
I do not want to live it alone because most pages have white as the
predominant color, which is very eye hurting and sometimes much harder
to read. And "always" forcing them solved the problem pretty good!
I will try the bookmarklet, you pointed in another message. Lets see
what it is like.
By the way, the default for that option is *not* "never". It is "only
with high contrast themes".
