It reminds me of my medications. Directs me to my destination. Answers
my questions, sends messages, email, and even video chats. It accesses
my bank, pays for items at checkouts, lets me find the cheapest
gasoline, stores thousands of pictures of family, friends, and
vacations, connects me to social media, news, weather, sports, and
breaking news. Notifies me of dangerous weather, Amber alerts, and even
traffic problems so I can get where I want to go quickly. It lets me
find good restaurants, in new towns, measures sound levels, takes
fantastic pictures, and 4k video, lets me level pictures on the wall,
keeps my appointments, and notifies me of them, and family/friends
birthdays, holds my phone number, and address lists, lets me play games,
lets me access thousands of stories to read in my spare time, and lots
of other functions as well.
Want to know how to treat first aid emergencies, call 911, let first
responders know what I am allergic to, and what medications I am on? It
does that too.

Hmm, I'm not sure I even want to know more about the "lots of things"
you speak of :-)
Holy Moley! 120?! I don't even have anywhere near that many on my
desktop, which I consider my primary use device. Sure, a smartphone
can do things like make calls and is great for GPS-travel and maybe a
casual game or two for long trips (although, I prefer audible for
listening to books) but 100 plus others?
I do a lot of things with the phone, so I have apps for a lot of
things. With 128GB to play with, that, and about 12,000 pictures only
takes up less than 20GB. No need to reload an app when I need it.
But you don't need to know about all those 100 other apps, I guess.
In other words, I USE the device. Oh, yeah, it makes phone calls too!
