Possibly because some of us prefer KDE to Gnome i certainly do i think Gnome SUCKS
big time as does Mate Horses for Courses Suse always has been an KDE Distro and
hopefully will remain so just as other distros have always been gnome centric .
As a former Suser i am glad they have stuck to their guns and kept to KDE .
I use Arch Linux right now but may well have anothr look OpenSuse in the not too
distant future .
