The SVN based commitfilter wasn't really compatible with Git, so it's
shutdown was inevitable in the long run.
Sysadmin has very little knowledge on the codebase which supports it
which makes maintaining it difficult. We have however been able to
determine that it does have serious security defect(s).
Creating a modern replacement to commitfilter shouldn't be too
complicated. Anyone interested should contact me for more detail.
