The Apple Partition Map block size is 2048 indeed. Else it could not
coexist with the GPT.

This is the Apple Partition Map itself.

This is APM partition 1. It marks the same range as MBR partition 2
and GPT partition 2. In there is the FAT filesystem with the start programs
/sbin/fdisk -l /dev/sdc
you would see the MBR partitions. One of type "Empty" and one of type EFI".

Did you get a complaint about a failed integrity test ?
Have a nice day :)
