POSIX 2018 is a top-level document release, made in order to restart a 10-year clock for things like IEEE requirements on revisiting standards document relevancy; while POSIX 2016 was the second technical corrigenda made against POSIX 2008 and therefore did not extend the timeframe of that older document which was nearing the end of its 10 years. So other than editorial changes, such as the document name, there are no substantial content changes to what you've already had available for 2 years. -- Eric Blake, Principal Software Engineer Red Hat, Inc. +1-919-301-3266 Virtualization: qemu.org | libvirt.org
